I am teaching a pre-retirement course for men and women for the Osher Life Long Institute at San Francisco State University. Can you recommend a video that I might use for my class.

    Thank you.

    Dear Helen,
I am one of the thousands (maybe more) of people that slipped through the cracks. I am 62 years old, Veteran, Degreed with post grad work. I got layed off in 2000, and haven’t seen work with a paycheck since, and is not that I have not tried.
I spent one solid year looking at that point, that was my job. It all boiled
down to: too old, too much experience, not trainable with new technology, too much money. All statements with no basis of reason or fact. From there I got evicted and was homeless for while, bad dream. I am a Army Vetran and all of medical and mental is taken care of. I found housing with there help and I am currently receiving SSDI, this is my only income. When the bottom fell out I had no resources, savings, IRA hidden away fo a rainy day. And days, I get buy living from the 1st of the month to the 1st of the month.
What sage wisdom do you have for us?
    THANK ,
    JOHN B. ROGERS

I’ve just heard about Project Renewal and would love to be in a group or a class in the L.A. area. Can someone guide me to one?
