eHealthinsurarnce.com has posted a handy tool that can help people figure out when their federal COBRA health insurance subsidy will end. The tool also lets you see how long your subsidy will stretch if the House bill proposing an extension of the COBRA subsidy becomes law.  Lawmakers indicated this week that they hope to take action on the extension before Christmas.

NOTE: eHealthinsurance is an online marketplace for private health insurance policies. I’m posting their widget below for your convenience, but be advised that if you click through to their site and start browsing policies, you’re going to be looking at individual health policies, which often come with high premiums and deductibles for older consumers.
